Last positions for Wetskills in India: Deadline extended

Wetskills Foundation and partners will organise two events in India, Delhi and Kerala. The events are aligned to the the State visit to India in October, with high profile dignitaries from the Netherlands focusing on innovative solutions in the field of water, agriculture, health and key enabling technologies.   There are some last positions left for these events. Deadline is 10 September but first come first serve! Celebrate the  first EJWP group with us! Join our Braai-BBQ!!

Since June this year we started with our first group of the European Junior Water Programme (www.juniorwaterprogramme.eu). In the week of 9-13 September these young professionals from various European countries are visiting the Netherlands. To celebrate this we organize a unique Meet & Greet Braai-BBQ with young professionals from the Dutch Sector. We have space for a maximum of 50 people at the Braai-BBQ. Two new events in India

From 15 to 18 October a large business delegation from The Netherlands will visit India. This delegation will start in Delhi (at the Tech Summit) and will end  in Kerala (with Water Seminar a.o.). This delegation exists of several sectors, which each themes and topics to be discussed. Water will be one of the focus areas.   Wetskills Foundation has been requested to organise a Wetskills in Delhi firstly, but also one in Kerala later. Wetskills team awarded at Flood Proof Romania

Last week Wetskills wrapped up its fourth event in Romania at the new Flood Proof Romania testing facility. As one of the initiators Wetskills Foundation was invited by Romanian partners to align this Wetskills event to this unique event (read more). As chair of jury, Michiel van Haersma Buma (former CEO Water Authority Delfland and chair of advisory board Brigaid project) congratulated the international team that came up with an innovative way of reducing plastics in the touristic area of Nehoiu in the Carpathians and to stimulate tourism in this region (see poster).   The winning international and transdisciplinary team existed of: Romanian participants Theodor Diga (University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine), Alexandra Turturica (University Politehnica of Bucharest) and Eduard Secu (Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest), Sjoerd van der Meulen (HAN University of Applied Sciences) from The Netherlands and Sandra Malagón (Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg) from Colombia.   The finals were organised at the Brigaid...
