Muscat, 15 March 2022 – Wetskills Foundation and partners in Oman (as Sultan Qaboos University and Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands to Oman) joined forces to organise a Wetskills Community Oman Meeting to celebrate 10 years of Wetskills cooperation in this country. Half of the 60 Alumni in Oman and also other partners attended the interactive and intergenerational workshop with the reception afterwards.
In January 2012 the first Wetskills Water Challenge was held in Sohar & Muscat and the finals were organized during the Royal State visit of Queen Beatrix and Crown Prince Willem Alexander and Crown Princes Maxima to Oman. An amazing experience!
Since 2012 Wetskills organized 4 events in Oman, but also many Omani participants joined events in The Netherlands and other countries.
