Wetskills-SA Cape Town 2026 – Day 4 –

Today the programme began with an insightful presentation by Precious Modise, who focused on team roles and action planning. She emphasized that every team member has a unique role and responsibility that contributes to the overall success of the team. The session highlighted the importance of understanding individual strengths, maintaining accountability, and ensuring effective collaboration to achieve common goals. It also reinforced the value of communication, trust, and coordination within multidisciplinary teams.

The development and implementation of an action plan was the subject of the second session. Precious explained that a well-structured action plan serves as a roadmap for the team’s activities by outlining tasks, assigning responsibilities, setting timelines, and tracking progress throughout the project. She encouraged all teams to use their action plans as a management tool to ensure that objectives are met efficiently and that everyone remains aligned with the project’s goals.

To conclude the day’s activities, each team was tasked with preparing a comprehensive action plan outlining their project milestones, responsibilities, and timelines. The completed action plans are to be submitted the following day for review. This exercise is expected to strengthen project planning, improve teamwork, and keep all teams focused as they progress through the assigned cases.
