Wetskills-SA Cape Town 2026 – Day 7
After several early mornings and packed schedules, it was refreshing to start the day a little later than usual. The extra rest was much appreciated, and after enjoying a delicious breakfast, everyone was energised and ready for another productive day.
The morning centered around an innovation and critique session, where each team presented its case study, outlined the problem it was addressing, and shared its proposed solution.
The session was conducted over two rounds, giving every team the opportunity to both present their work and provide constructive feedback to others. The discussions were engaging and thought-provoking. Teams asked insightful questions, challenged assumptions, and offered practical suggestions to strengthen each project’s approach. The exchange of ideas highlighted the importance of collaboration and demonstrated how valuable different perspectives can be in developing innovative solutions.
Following the critique sessions, each team regrouped to reflect on the feedback received and discuss ways to improve their projects.
With the final presentation day fast approaching, everyone shifted their focus to refining their ideas, completing outstanding tasks, and ensuring their solutions were ready to be showcased. As the day came to an end, there was a noticeable sense of determination across all the teams. Although there was still work to be done, the constructive feedback and collaborative spirit had boosted everyone’s confidence. Each team left with stronger ideas, a clearer direction, and growing excitement for the big day ahead.
