Wetskills Hungary 2019 – by Ramón Kreka
The day of the Brain Hurricane has just come. We met early in the morning in front of the beautiful main building of Budapest University of Technology and Economics where we’ll spend most of the time working on our cases.
The f
irst brainstorming session started at 8 am at the Department Hydraulic and Water Resource Engineering. We began working on our cases separated by teams and came up with the very first ideas. The main task for the day was to create an action plan to introduce our case containing the problem itself, what we want to do and how we want to do it. Each team had to make the preliminary schedule for the upcoming d
ays and divide the tasks between the team members. After brainstorming we went for a lunch. Most of us ate together at the university canteen called Stoczek Melódin Menza.
In the afternoon the case owners introduced their cases and also the time of speed dates has come. We had the chance to ask each other (by mixing the teams) about our cases and help with some new idea
s. In the evening some of us went to the cinema to watch the brand new Joker movie starring Joaquin Phoenix to relax after a productive day.
