Wetskills-Oman 2024 – Day 12 –
10 Days of hard work came to an end. The last day of the Wetskills program started at the Oman conference center. We arrived 3 hours before the presentation of our cases, to practice and make sure everything was in place. Then we had to present our cases and posters to the jury to evaluate and choose the winners.
Then we joined the big hall for Johan Oost’s speech about Wetskills program from the start till today. The decisive moment, everyone was nervous and excited for the announcement of the winners of Wetskills-Oman 2024.
The winners were case 5: Towards Novel and Innovative Wastewater Treatment Strategy Integrating On-site CO2 Capture and Utilization. Congratulations to them!
As the day wound down, we ended our day at Alazaiba Beach for a barbeque night, where we goodbyes everyone and thanked them for this wonderful experience.
Such a memorable experience!
