The day began with reflections on the previous day’s progress, particularly on drafting our Action plan and understanding our Belbin Team Roles. Teams had previously done some testing and finding out about their role or the type of person they are, using the Belbin website. These reflections helped us evaluate our strengths as a team and improve how we collaborate throughout the project. We then wrote our Belbin team roles in our Action plan.

We then engaged with our supervisor Mr Craig, who guided and corrected our research direction while helping us refine our plans for the upcoming days. Roles and responsibilities were officially assigned according to our Belbin Team Roles, ensuring that each team member contributed based on their strengths. Although the case was a little bit diffrent with real life team roles, we managed to walk through it.

Later in the day, we received training on the Business Model Canvas, a valuable tool that helped us organize our innovation idea into clear sections and better understand how our research and solution would function in practice.

On the same day we did our first consultations with our respective supervisors Cindrella Ndlovu, Craig Tanyanyiwa and Mthokozisi Moyo. We then digested the advice we got as a team, and turned it into written work and ready for pitch and implementation.

To close the day, we continued working on drafting our research paper, designing our poster presentation, and refining our elevator pitch as we move closer to presenting our solutions next week on Thursday.
