Wetskills-South Korea 2024 – Blog 3 –
Located roughly 53km north of Seoul, the demilitarized zone (DMZ) is the furthest north anyone can venture on the Korean peninsula. This is the place where some of traveled to, in order to explore Korea’s history and have a chance to glimpse into North Korea and what division means for us as people. We certainly returned puzzled over fences and signed imposing endless restrictions contrasting the hassle and bustle of tourism thriving at site.
Back in Seoul, all of us prepared to travel south! Labelled the Korean Hawaii, Jeju welcomed us from its most moody side with its weather causing quite some turbulences in our flight schedules. After circling around Jeju island, an unexpected refueling stopover at Muan Airport, all of us arrived safe and sound.
We closed our day with a filling fish dinner and ready to practice our pitches on the following morning.
