Wetskills-South Korea 2024 – Blog day 2 –
Annyeonghaseyo! The groups got off to a flying start. Tuesday night after the second first supper, the first group had a meeting with their case owner. Today, Group 3 received a physical visit from their client, the International Centre for Water Security and Sustainable Management (i-WSSM). Team 2 spoke with their case owner in the Netherlands.
In the afternoon, we had a visit from experts: Junsung Noh (Professor, Department of Environment and Energy, Sejong University) who has a major in Marine Ecology; Seulki Jeong (Professor, Department of Environment and Energy, Sejong University) Soil and Water Management; and Dr. Jeryang Park (Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Hongik University).
They shed their light on the different approaches to the cases. It was very fruitful and the groups much appreciated their input. In the evening, the different groups traveled to the modern Samseong Mall. Tomorrow morning we will start the day with a poster training.
