Wetskills to Jeju Island: Welcome to South Korea!

Because of the success of a memorable first (Olympic) edition of a Wetskills Water Challenge in South-Korea in February 2018 (read here), the great successors in 2019 (read here) and 2022 (read here), we were thrilled to organize the fourth edition of Wetskills South-Korea! And this will become a special one: Wetskills Finals and Awarding Ceremony will take place on Jeju Island, UNESCO Heritage and one of the seven New Wonders of Nature!

Get ready for an immersive journey into water innovation, with a focus on water management on island! We extend our invitation for you to seize the opportunity and apply for a coveted spot at the Wetskills-South Korea 2024 event. The program is scheduled to commence on 20 October 2024 and will culminate in a grand finale featuring pitches and a poster market on 1 November 2024 during the Korea Society on Water Environment on Jeju Island.

The Wetskills Foundation extends a warm invitation to Bachelor, Master, PhD students, recent graduates, and young professionals who are enthusiastic about water, climate, and sustainability to apply for the Wetskills Challenge taking place in Seoul and Jeju Island, South Korea, from 20 October to 1 November 2024. In a world where water issues are more crucial than ever due to persistent droughts, floods, and water quality issues, your innovative solutions to pressing water challenges are urgently required. Seize this unique opportunity and apply now (use the link on the right).
