Wetskills-South Korea 2018

Read about the unique finals in the Holland Heineken House, Gangneung during the PyeongChang olympic Winter Games in presence of The Netherlands prime minister Mark Rutte. The Wetskills Foundation with partners Hongik University, Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands and Korea Water Forum organized a special edition of Wetskills: the Olympic edition in South Korea (period: 28 January - 12 February 2018).

Wetskills-South Korea 2019

Wetskills was in South Korea for the second time, after the first Olympic edition in winter 2018. Some 20 participants were joining the event! They worked together with international peers on challenging water cases, in a 2-weeks program with team building, field visits and real-life cases submitted by case owners. Follow this event, it has started at August 26!

Wetskills-Japan 2021 (online)

The Olympic Wetskills-Japan 2021 Water Challenge (July 29 - August 5) had its online programme during the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where Kiran Badloe, windsurfer and Wetskills Ambassador won a golden medal!

Wetskills-Romania 2021

University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest Bulevardul MĂRĂŞTI 59, Bucharest, Romania

An international team of students and young water professionals from Romania, The Netherlands and other countries joined us for this Wetskills-Rominia 2021 event. They worked on 3 challenging water cases in a program with interesting wokshops and field visites, starting on 11 September, and presenting their ideas during the Finals and Awarding session with livestream on 22 September.

Wetskills-South Korea 2022

Wetskills was back in South-Korea, after the ‘Olympic’ Wetskills edition of 2018 and its successor at the Korea International Water Week in Daegu in 2019. We had again a great event, from 24 August to 2 September 2022, aligned to the KSWE Conference (Seoul)!
