Wetskills-India (Panipat) 2024

November 10 - November 22

About The Event

Wetskills Events Wave

A new event in India, dedicated to Water in Textile Industry (Panipat)

The National Mission of the Clean Ganga aims to improve the water quality of this important river in India.  The City of Panipat plays an important role in this mission, because the textile industry heavily pollutes the Ganga River. Creating a more sustainable and cleaner textile industry is an enormous challenge, existing of various sub-challenges as introduction of new approaches and technologies, governmental and behavioural/awareness challenges.

Are you a student or young professional from India, Asia, or beyond, and do you want to make a difference in the water sector? Are you interested specifically to make the textile industry more sustainable? Would you like to experience working in an international team to solve water cases with out-of-the-box solutions? Are you interested to present your ideas for an international jury panel and audience? This is your chance! Wetskills Foundation and partners are organizing the eight Wetskills edition in India, focussed on Water in the Textile Industry!

Wetskills Foundation is inviting students (Bachelor (final year), Master and PhD) and Young Professionals from universities and organizations worldwide with a passion for Water, Climate and Sustainability, to join this intergenerational event and apply for Wetskills-India 2023 (period: 14-24 November 2023).
