We are thrilled to announce our first-ever Wetskills Challenge in West Africa, taking place in the vibrant city of Accra, Ghana, from 31 May to 12 June 2025. This landmark event will bring together passionate young professionals and students from diverse backgrounds to tackle real-world water challenges in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Over the course of two unforgettable weeks, multidisciplinary teams of four to five participants will work together to develop pioneering solutions to pressing issues presented by case owners from across the water sector—industry experts, government bodies, NGOs, and knowledge institutions. Participants will tackle challenges related to climate resilience, drought and flood management, water quality, sustainable agriculture, water reuse, and entrepreneurship, all aimed at bolstering water resilience in Ghana and the wider West African region.
This unique Wetskills Challenge combines hands-on learning with networking and knowledge exchange. In addition to developing creative solutions, participants will gain valuable practical skills and build connections that will serve them throughout their careers while exploring Accra’s dynamic culture and vibrant energy.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make a lasting impact and contribute to a sustainable water future for Ghana and beyond. Join us in Accra, where innovation, collaboration, and career-building await!
