The jury panel announce Team SSWEFT as winner of Wetskills-South Africa 2023 (Cape Town) in the Two Ocean Aquarium. The team, with case owner Water Research Commission, exists of Fulya Kandemir (Turkey), Nomandla Nxusa, Zanele Lulane, Tariro Marekwa, Seipati Poopedi. They came up with a new model for strengthen regional cooperation in the SADC region and enhance economic development using the water-energy-food (WEF) nexus.
This Wetskills event in Cape Town was aligned to the stopover of the Ocean Race (sailing competition). Wetskills organized its first Wetskills event in 2023 (11-23 February) in the Mother City. (more info).
