Come celebrate with us and be part of the 2020 Wetskills Water Challenge in South Africa and shake the Water-Energy-Food cocktail with us! Between 21 May and 3 June, the Wetskills Water Challenge will take place for the fifth time in South Africa. Also this year Wetskills will become 10 years old. Wetskills Foundation plans to celebrate both of these milestones with a special jubilee event in Johannesburg (save-the-date: 30 June) together with its wide alumni network.
This fifth edition will be organised in Johannesburg and Pretoria and its finals aligned to the WISA conference (Water Institute for Southern Africa) taking place on 31 May – 3 June. The event is organized in cooperation with the South Africa Department for Water and Sanitation, and with the support of the Embassy and Consulate of Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Blue Deal & Dutch Water Authorities.
Wetskills is looking for participants and case owners:
Are you a student or young professional from the Netherlands, Southern Africa or other parts of the world, who wants to make a difference in the water sector? Would you like to work in international teams on out-of-the-box solutions and experience the culture and amazing nature of South Africa? Do you want to work on challenging water issues and get to present your ideas to a high-profile audience at the WISA Conference in Johannesburg? This is your chance!
We accept applications from Bachelor, Master, PhD students and young professionals from the water sector, but also from other specializations who have a cross-over with water.
