Elizabeth Gamarra

Elizabeth Gamarra is a U.S. Youth Ambassador for the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, where she represents the United States at the American Pavilion and supports international collaboration on the ground. She previously served as the U.S. Delegate to the Y20 (Youth G20), contributing to global policy discussions on climate and environmental sustainability, and was selected as a Fellow in the Diplomacy Training Program, focusing on the rights of Indigenous peoples, including access to clean water.

Elizabeth also serves on the Board of Trustees for PaX Natura, supporting environmental projects in Costa Rica. Her work bridges diplomacy, environmental justice, and youth empowerment, with a strong commitment to advancing equity and sustainability.

She became involved with Wetskills through her role at the Osaka Expo and has been proud to support the team on-site, driven by her belief in the power of international collaboration and youth leadership in addressing global water challenges.

Looking ahead, after her time in the UK, Elizabeth will be working at the Brain Science Unit, continuing her multidisciplinary journey at the intersection of science, policy, and global development.
