Wetskills-Tunisia 2025 – Blog 2 –
Today, we headed to the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT), where the program officially kicked off with an introductory session about Wetskills – its mission, global presence, and its unique approach in connecting young professionals to tackle real-life water challenges.
Prior to the event, participants had been divided into four multidisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration between individuals from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. The day began with interactive introductions, where team members got to know each other and shared their initial thoughts about the cases assigned to them.
Each group received its specific water-related challenge, marking the start of their journey as a team. Later, participants had the chance to meet the case owners, engage in deeper discussions, and gain a clearer understanding of the local context and the issues at hand.
The day also included an engaging teamwork training session, guided by experienced facilitators who ensured smooth logistics and provided all necessary resources for an efficient and inspiring working environment.
The first day concluded on a note of enthusiasm and collaboration, setting a strong foundation for the days ahead.
