Wetskills-SA (Gauteng) 2025 – Blog 2 –
After a lively evening of competition games and getting to know one another, Day 2 began on a cheerful note, with everyone more comfortable and familiar. The morning started with groups finalising their Crazy 88 videos, putting their editing skills to the test. Laughter and creativity filled the room as we pieced together our footage.
We then had the opportunity to engage with the case owners, gaining valuable insights and a clearer understanding of the tasks ahead. This session provided strong direction for our project work. Despite most of the meetings being held online and occasional load shedding challenges, we improvised effectively and ensured all sessions were attended successfully.
After an amazing lunch prepared by great chefs, we embarked on the second session of the day “speed dating” with the experts. This interactive exchange offered practical advice and left us feeling inspired and confident in our ability to deliver on the mandate ahead.
The afternoon continued with brainstorming sessions as groups put pen to paper. The energy kept rising, and before we knew it, it was dinner time.
The day concluded on a high note with the screening of the Crazy 88 videos. Each team displayed incredible creativity, with Team 1 taking second place and Team 4 winning first. Overall, it was a productive and insightful day that balanced learning, teamwork, and fun.
