Our Wetskills 2025 journey started with excitement as we arrived at our accommodation, eager to meet our fellow participants. After settling in, we headed to the iconic V&A Waterfront, where our mentors welcomed us and introduced the program.
Then came the real icebreaker: Crazy 88! A fun challenge that had us running around, completing funny tasks, and working together
as a team. Whether it was striking up conversations with strangers, performing random acts of kindness, or testing our creative
thinking under pressure, the game did its job: turning unfamiliar faces into a close-knit team. 
What’s a welcome without a braai? After all that running around, we deserved a proper South African-style welcome.
Back at the hostel, we fired up the grill for a braai—because nothing brings people
together like good food, laughter, and music. We shared stories, laughed, and enjoyed a relaxed evening.
The night ended with announcements, marking the start of our group activities for the days ahead. And just like that, Wetskills 2025 was officially underway!
