Wetskills-Oman 2025 – Blog 5 –
As part of the Wetskills program in Salalah, we had a designated free day to explore the unique natural of Dhofar. This opportunity allowed the team to relax, experience the environment, and strengthen bonds outside the working sessions.
We started at Ain Arazat, a peaceful place surrounded by greenery, fresh water, and calm nature. Then we continued to Hamran and Athum, where the mountains and valleys gave us amazing views and a real feeling of escape from the city.
One of the best parts of the day was our visit to Wadi Darbat. The View there was breathtaking, with flowing water, green hills, and fresh air. We even took a boat ride together on the lake, which was full of laughter, teamwork, and fun it really made the day special.
Later, we went up to Jabal Samhan, standing high above the clouds, where the cool breeze and wide landscapes gave us time to reflect and take in the beauty of nature. To finish, we headed to Mirbat, a coastal town with its own history, traditional charm, and the relaxing sound of the sea.
This free day was not only about sightseeing, but also about bonding with the team and recharging our energy for the Wetskills challenges ahead.
