A day to remember, I woke up crazy early, like 5 AM, in the Wadi Rum desert. I was with Wetskills team, a group of people from all over the place. Now, keep in mind, I’d never been in a desert before, and let me tell you, it was a total trip. Camels were just chilling, and the sun started creeping up, turning everything into these warm, amazing colors. And guess what? Breakfast happened right smack in the middle of the desert.

After that, we hopped into our ride and drove for like two hours to get to Petra, this ancient city carved into these insane cliffs. We went on this mega four-hour walk – and let me tell you, the heat was no joke! We must’ve hit like 18.000 steps, and man, we were beat. But then we finally laid eyes on the Treasury in Petra, and it was like WOW ! Totally like something out of an adventure movie. Yeah, the heat made it a bit rough, but seeing that place? Totally blew us away.

Every spot we checked out had its own story. It was like a never-ending journey of coolness. And when we stood there, right in front of the Treasury, one of the world’s most famous sights, it was like all that tiredness disappeared. It’s hard to explain, but it was this mix of being seriously amazed and feeling this crazy connection to history.

So, that day in the desert and our Petra trip? It’s stuck in my brain for good. It was like being in a whole new world and realizing how mind-blowing our planet really is.
