Romania – 14 Sept 2021 – Wetskills Challenge day 4
By Cristina Tarcus (Ramboll South East Europe)
It all started on a September day when the manager of the company I work for (Ramboll South East Europe) told me about the Wetskills Water Challenge and if I would be interested in participating. At first, things were not very clear to me, but trying to get out of my own globe I accepted the challenge.
It feels like Narnia, but without negative characters !
Tuesday, 14.09.2021, was the first day that brain activity began to go crazy.
In the first part of the day we were introduced to the Wetskills Challenge and the program for the following days. At the same time, Diana Vlad, who participated in Wetskills Holland in 2017, came to tell us about her own experience and to give us some advice.
But the fun part is just beginning ….
BrainHurricane – the coolest concept I’ve ever seen and experienced. For those like me who did not know what “Brainhurricane” is, it is a way to generate ideas and share knowledge to solve a certain problem (in our case related to water). Brainhurricane is a group activity in which each participant shares their ideas as soon as they come to mind. The participants are encouraged to think without interruption only that we had a little help: 3 experts in the field of water, respectively: Prof. Dr. Eng. Diana Robescu – Dean of the Faculty of Energy, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ana Vîrsta – Dean of the Faculty Land Improvements and Environmental Engineering and Dr. Epsica Chiru Deputy General Manager at “Apa Nova” whom I thank in this way.
The experience so far has been one that I cannot express in words, just like a fairy and I am very happy that I had the courage to take this step. I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people from whom I managed to learn so much in such a short time.
