Wetskills-Durban 2024 – Blog Day 3 – By: Shongile Chauke
As compared to the previous day, this day was filled with so much apricity, making everything look so vibrant and alive. Everyone was so excited to work on their cases. A bus came to collect us to the Durban University of Technology (DUT). Once in the university, we met experts in the water sector as well as the case owners who broadened the scope of each case study.
Every team was working on their case, and the experts were present to evaluate and advice on each case study. This sparkled new ideas and research questions regarding the case studies. A lot has been learned, and each team came to realize that there is a lot of research that needs to be done in order to come up with a solution.
To sweeten the day, we had a taste of Durban cuisine, the famous chicken and Lamb breyani. This was a tasty experience. To end our day and to rejuvenate our spirits, we reveled in the tranquil sea breeze.
