Muscat, Oman – 15 March 2019 – Wetskills Water Challenge Day 0

By Kathiya Al-Aufi (Sultan Qaboos University)

The Wetskills in the Netherlands was one of the top experiences in my life that encourages me to register for the second time but this time in

my country Oman. The unique things in Wetskills that it gathers international students to work and found solutions for water challenges in a host country. Also, it makes students work in pressure in less than two weeks to submit a paper, poster and the most challenge present the case in two min only.

The most things I like in Wetskills how it removes all the differences between the students like nationality, religion and gender and remains only the respect and help between students. I got a good idea about the Dutch, Romanian, Pakistani, Israeli and Colombian students. And this time I am very pleased that we have more countries, Saudi Arabia, India, Mexico, Italy and Brazil all gather in Oman.

In the end, I hope for five groups’ good luck and wonderful staying in their second country Oman (Ahlan Wa Shlan).
