Lesotho 2023 – Saturday Day 1 – blog by Kgomotso –
First day of Wetskills Lesotho programme 2023!
We kick started off the programme with ice-breakers amongst participants as introductions, where we got to know each individual’s backgrounds and passions. We were also introduced to the Westskills programmes and briefed on the five Wetskills cases. The case owners are Renoka, WRC, Rand Water and Water Footprint. Each participant chose their top 3 cases of their preference.
At noon, we went to a farmer’s market in Oul la la Cafe. The market exposed the participants to some of the local food, beverages, clothes etc. We ended the day at Galito’s where we had our dinner.
