Today started with my classic cup of tea (something I cannot live without) and a day of beautiful sunshine. I spent the morning with Joy and Annelise (together we are The Inter-Linkers) finishing off the memo and writing a business plan for our case study ‘The European Junior Water Program’.
It was lovely to have a break at lunch time and go and enjoy the gorgeous weather. We had a picnic together in Victoria Park in front of the Royal Crescent soaking up the sun. Some of us even ventured over the have a peak at the fairground.
I practised my pitch as well this afternoon. It’s quite hard to remember even 2 minutes’ worth of speech when under pressure and standing in front of an audience (even a small one). I’m getting a little nervous for Tuesday, I hope I will be able to remember all the pitch and not stumble over my words or speak too fast! More practise needed to become ‘Pitch Perfect’.
In the evening, we celebrated a productive week of work with some Caribbean Cocktails. Some of us looked slightly more sophisticated than others. I would recommend the Strawberry Daiquiri.
