Wetskills Hungary 2019 – by Bogi –
Today we visited the Budapest Central Wastewater Treatment Plant
in Csepel Island with WETSKILLS team. We had an amazing guide with Enikő Szabolcsi, who drives us on all the water’s way from the entrance of the treatment plant till the very end of the process. They are monitoring water 24 hours a day so can handle even the tiny change in ammonia level for example. We see, smell and feel how to be a part in this huge system. We got know that the treatment plan capable to create it’s own energy with biogas and with an “Archimedes nail” water power plant.
