The Wetskills Foundation has decided to postpone the Wetskills-Oman 2026 event due to the current crisis in the Middle East. The safety and well-being of participants, partners, and organisers remain our highest priority.
After careful consultation with our partners, including the Oman Water Week, Sultan Qaboos University, Wetskills concluded that it is not the right moment to organise the event as originally planned. Wetskills events aim to provide a safe, open, and collaborative environment for young water professionals, and this requires stable circumstances for travel and participation.
The Wetskills Foundation therefore decided to postpone the Oman edition to a later moment when conditions allow for a safe and successful event. All applicants who have already registered will be informed directly about the postponement and the next steps. Their applications will remain on file.
Wetskills hopes to announce the new dates for the event soonest.
