Wetskills-Mozambiqe, Blog day 8 –
The day kicked off with breakfast at 6:30am at the Aulios hostel, where we were staying. At 10:30 am, we dived into an innovation round, with each team presenting their solutions to a given or proposed case problem to the facilitators, supervisors, and audience team.
This was followed by intense discussions, constructive criticism, and rapid-fire questions, this was the pressure cookout sessions. Post the innovation round, each team engaged in a one-on-one consultation session with the facilitators for further guidance and improvement on problem definition solution finding and evaluation.
This stirred up mixed emotions about the adequacy of our presented innovative solutions. At this juncture, teams were given the green light to revisit their drawing boards and fine-tune their solutions based on the feedback from the one-on-one sessions. It was undeniably a strenuous day; no fun was had, and the pressure was relentless.
