Kiran Badloe, windsurfing, won the Olympic golden medal in Tokyo last week. During the finals of Wetskills-Japan 2021 representatives of Wetskills Team (Frank, Floor and Johan) congratulated Kiran and gave him a special Golden Wetskills Statue. During his short address Kiran stressed the importance of bringing talents to the sector and working together using all strengths. He told about his experiences of bad water quality and plastics that he experienced during practicing his sport.
Wetskills hopes to create more awareness activities with Kiran as ambassador, in coorperation with the Dutch Wavemakers.
