Do you have a water problem which you would like to solve? Do you want to gain attention for this and do you want to enhance your ability to do so? Are you looking for a multidisciplinary and international team of young water professionals in the Netherlands to help you solve your case? Then this is your unique opportunity to bring in your case!

We want to make sure that the potential of young talent in the water sector is used to its full effect; that young professionals can really participate through a connection with other young potentials and with seniors, and that the results of their ideas lead to an impact. Therefore, we offer a unique and inspiring program, especially for you!

This is your chance to get to know The Netherlands through a round trip across the Dutch Delta, to find possible solutions for your case, to gain insight in your personal abilities and to expand your network.

 

Call for water dreams; apply as case owner for the Chasing Water Dreams Program in the Netherlands!

 

The Chasing Water Dreams organization invites young water professionals worldwide to apply as case owner for the Chasing Water Dreams program which is part of Wetskills-The Netherlands 2017, which will take place from 19 October – 2 November 2017. Participants of Wetskills will work on the winning case (which could be yours!), and the case owner will get the opportunity to participate in the Wetskills programme as well.

We are looking for young water professionals from all around the world, in possession of a water related problem and interested in a personal leadership training to increase their impact on finding solutions. We offer you free travel and accommodation, case ownership and participation in the Wetskills-The Netherlands programme, the possibility to visit the young Amsterdam International Water Week program, empowering workshops and possibilities to promote and network for your case during Wetskills and at the AIWW. Your application consists of

  1. a short (3 minutes max) video pitch on what makes you a young water dream chaser
  2. a registration form (see registration below)
  3. your motivation in max 400 words (see below)

Who can apply

A young water professional who is not older than 35 years and has less than 5 years working experience; who is residing in another country than the Netherlands and is able to speak and write English on a professional level; who is related to an organisation or university focussed on water; and who is available from 19 October – 3 November 2017
