Wetskills continues (partly) online on 22 September

Write down in your agenda: September 22 in the afternoon. This afternoon is dedicated to the finals of Wetskills-The Netherlands 2020 in Leeuwarden. In addition, Wetskills online is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the focus on the added value for Partners of the program in past years. The program will be broadcasted in the Wetsus’ auditorium, where a maximum of 40 people will be present live.

Next Sunday, the 45th Wetskills event will start in Leeuwarden, the seventh edition in The Netherlands. It will be the first Wetskills event after the global outbreak of the corona virus. 12 Young Professionals and students will work in mixed teams on water issues raised by three organizations, the case owners.

The Programme Towards A Rich Wadden Sea (PRW) challenges one of the teams to come up with a projection of sustainable mobility across the Wadden Sea. The Province of Fryslân would like to entice the tourist to become a co-creator for sustainable water use and the Wetterskip Fryslän (regional water authority) would like ideas to reduce drought problems within the RegionDeal South-East.
