Energy extraction from the water chain

The aim of this project is to make the integrated water supply and sanitation a net energy producer instead of a consumer in the greater Durban area (eThekwini). This can be achieved by making positive alterations to the current system. The pro- posed concept present smart coupling of drinking-, waste water and energy system.
