About The Event

Wetskills Events Wave

Wetskills for the first time to the Palestinian Territories!!

(Note: Wetskills Foundation is aware of the coronavirus and the potential consequences for this event. This event is postponed to another period in 2021. If you are interested to join or want to have more information, please contact us (see contact information below).)

Have you always wanted to try Knafa (read: melted cheese with lots of sweet stuff)? Are you curious how those biblical landscapes look like today? Can’t you withhold yourself when Middle Eastern cuisine is served? Do you love wandering around in vibrant historic cities and between centuries-old relics? Do you want to meet people who can tell you everything about this or other cultures (like the Dutch – not sugared – cheese culture)? And, most importantly, Are you passionate about water and want to contribute to innovate solutions on challenging water issues and keen on meeting and interacting with an international water audience?

Then you must join the Wetskills Water Challenge in Nablus, Westbank! [Leaflet with Announcement for Participants Palestinian Territories 2020]

This new edition of Wetskills Water Challenge, the first one in the Palestinian Territories, is planned for 8-21 July 2020. Exact dates may deviate and will be confirmed as soon as possible on our website. But July 2020 it is! An-Najah University in Nablus (Water and Environmental Studies Institute, WESI) will be our local host, and the finals will be held at the International Palestinian Water Conference, in Ramallah from July 18-21. At this conference the teams will present their results and the winning team will be announced!

Wetskills Foundation is inviting students (Bachelor (final year), Master and PhD and Young Professionals (with up to 5 years working experience) from universities and organisations worldwide with a passion for Water, to join this unique event and apply for Wetskills-Palestinian Territories 2020.
