READ MORELast year Wetskills organized a programme in Denmark for the first time. Time for a next edition! This new Wetskills event in Denmark will be aligned to the World Water Congress of the International Water Association (IWA) in Copenhagen (9-15 September 2022). This time the group will travel from the western (Aarhus) to the eastern (Copenhagen) part of Denmark. A great experience! This Wetskills Challenge will start 3 September and finish 15 September.
Are you a student or young professional from Denmark, Nordic countries and beyond, and do you want to make a difference in the water sector? Would you like to experience working in an international team and experiencing Denmark (from west to east)? Do you want to work on challenging water & sustainability issues? Are you interested to visit the programme of IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition and present your ideas for an international jury panel and audience? This is your chance! Wetskills Foundation and partners are organising the second Wetskills edition in Denmark!
Wetskills Foundation is inviting students (Bachelor (final year), Master and PhD) and Young Professionals from universities and organisations worldwide with a passion for Water-Energy-Food, to join this intergenerational event and apply for Wetskills-Denmark 2022 (period: 3-15 September 2020). You can register by filling-in the online form (Botton at the right side).
Application (online) and first selection deadline for participants: 15 June 2022
After this deadline, every week a selection of the new applications will be made untill the program is full. (First Come, First Served)
Any Young Professional (up to 5 years of working experience) and student (last year Bachelor, Master or PhD) from Denmark, Nordic region, and other countries worldwide, with a passion for water & sustainability and intercultural teamwork.
Prepare a motivation letter and resume, click the botton on the right, fill out the online application form and submit it.
The Wetskills organization will make a final selection among applications received, based on quality of motivation & resume. The organisation will also consider a good diversity of the whole group (incl. backgrounds, local/international, gender balance, etc.).
Participation fee for participants is € 425,- (excl. VAT). This participation fee includes accommodation during the programme.
If you already have accommodation in Aarhus and/or Copenhagen, Wetskills Foundation can tailor the participation fee
The Participation fee includes teambuilding activities, some lunches & dinners, field trips, workshop, supervision, trainings and working venues. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses (plane tickets, local travel, etcetera), meals during working days and other personal costs.
Note: During past editions participants often successfully arranged financial compensation for their Wetskills participation from their university or employer. We therefore strongly encourage applicants to inquire about funding opportunities to compensate the costs (university mobility funds, travel allowance etc.).
A unique learning experience where you will tackle real-life water challenges with your own team!
Wetskills Foundation and partners would like to welcome businesses, governments, knowledge institutes and/or NGOs to formulate one of the Challenges and support the Wetskills programme in South Korea. Join us in this great next experience! Find more information contact Johan Oost, johan.oost@wetskills.com.
