City Blueprint Ahmedabad: WetsNext project

Well, it started in June 2016. That summer, I was a participant of the Wetskills USA event in Boston. During this event, I had a great time roaming the Boston harbour and enjoying the company of fellow participants during interesting visits. But most of all, I was part of the team working on a great case provided by KWR Watercycle Research Institute. The case consisted of applying the proven City Blueprint Approach to the city of Boston, and coming up with an innovative application of the City Blueprint Approach to contribute to Boston’s water sustainability. Wetskills for the first time to Iran

Between 15 and 25 October, the first Iranian Wetskills Challenge will take place in Iran. During the event in Tehran, 25 students and young professionals from Iran and The Netherlands will work together in teams to come up with out-of-the-box concepts for actual water related cases, posed by Iranian and Dutch case owners. The event is aligned to the trade mission of Minister of Infrastructure & Environment of The Netherlands, Ms. Schultz van Haegen to Iran. Wetskills participants prepared for Iran

On Thursday 15 September, the ten selected Dutch participants of the upcoming Wetskills Water Challenge in Iran, came together in Rotterdam for the prepatory meeting. The organizing Wetskills team introduced the programme and the cases that the participants will work on. The event will take place from 13 till 25 October and is aligned to the trade mission of Minister of Infrastructure & Environment of The Netherlands, Ms. Schultz van Haegen to Iran.   This will be the first time that a Wetskills Challenge is organized in Iran. Study cases for Iran

Wetskills-Iran 2016: We are looking for companies and organizations to bring in their Water Challenges!   In October 2016 a Wetskills Water Challenge will be hosted in Tehran, Iran for the first time.
